Honor & Bloom is delighted to be working with NEWKD and Siamsa Tíre to facilitate a special workshop ahead of Kerry Mental Health & Wellbeing Fest 2026.

Journaling and creativity have always been an important part of the work we do at Honor & Bloom. This workshop brings them together with self-discovery, giving participants the space to explore themselves through writing, creative exercises and conversation.

Inside the Workshop

Rather than simply talking about wellbeing, we'll be getting involved. Participants will work through a series of guided exercises exploring identity, confidence, values, beliefs and the experiences that shape how we see ourselves.

We'll also introduce different ways to use journaling and creativity for reflection and emotional expression. The aim is for participants to leave not only with a greater understanding of themselves, but with ideas and practices they can continue using in their own lives.

You don't need to consider yourself creative or know how to journal to take part. Everything will be guided during the session, and there is no right or wrong way to approach the activities.

A Free Pre-Festival Event

The workshop is being fully funded through the NEWKD SICAP Programme, making it free to attend.

It forms part of the lead-up to Kerry Mental Health & Wellbeing Fest 2026, which takes place from 10–17 October 2026 and brings together mental health and wellbeing events, activities and supports from across County Kerry.
